Farmworker Coordinating Council of palm beach county, inc.

In the winter of 1977-1978, Ernesto Gonzalez and a group of volunteers mobilized to support farmworkers left without work after a sudden freeze. What began in a borrowed warehouse has since evolved into the Farmworker Coordinating Council of Palm Beach County (FWCC), a dedicated social services agency addressing the ongoing challenges faced by farmworkers. Today, FWCC provides critical support to over 9,000 migrant and seasonal farmworker families, along with thousands of landscaping workers, through a range of essential social programs. With a team of 11 full-time professionals operating from offices in Lake Worth and Belle Glade, FWCC remains steadfast in its mission to empower farmworker communities and build a brighter future for those who help feed America!
